Megan Mills is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist whose relational and Humanistic approach reflects her deep respect for clients’ abilities to heal and grow. They are passionate about serving LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those navigating addiction, disordered eating, and trauma. Megan is fat positive and size inclusive.
Megan earned her Master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including IFS-Informed parts work, mindfulness, narrative therapy, ACT, HAES®, and self-compassion practices. She is currently pursuing certification in Body Trust® through the Center for Body Trust and has completed training in neurodivergent affirming therapy and grief counseling, enhancing her ability to support clients in reclaiming their wholeness.
Guided by intersectional feminism, decolonial theory, and liberation psychology, Megan creates safer spaces for clients, particularly those who are gender-expansive, queer, disabled, fat, or neurodivergent. Her practice is grounded in the belief that when clients are equipped with the right tools and a supportive environment, they can navigate trauma, embrace their complexities, and align with their authentic selves.
Through her curiosity, compassion, and commitment to individualized care, Megan collaborates with clients to foster growth and build lives that reflect their values and strengths.
