Felicia Hermle is the founder and owner of Brave Soul Therapy, where she brings a deep passion for helping clients navigate life’s challenges and discover pathways to healing and growth. With a rich background as a psychotherapist, psychiatric social worker, and addiction specialist, Felicia specializes in areas such as substance use recovery, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in systems work, family dynamics, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed or parts work. She integrates inner child work and storytelling to help clients reconnect with their authentic selves and heal from past wounds. Felicia’s work is also informed by her strong commitment to inclusivity, empathy, and collaboration, with a particular focus on individuals in 12-step recovery and those who have experienced religious trauma.
Felicia has built Brave Soul Therapy with the vision of providing a nurturing environment for both clients and therapists to thrive. Guided by the 12-step principle “You can’t keep it unless you give it away,” she is passionate about empowering her team of therapists to build sustainable careers while offering exceptional care.
Felicia holds a Master’s in Social Work from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from William Jessup University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II).
