Kelsey brings a wealth of experience from her career as a psychotherapist, public sector leader, and empathy educator. She is the founder of Empathy Bootcamp, a training company that has worked with organizations like Google, NPR, Stanford University, and the Cleveland Clinic to foster deeper understanding and connection.

Kelsey is also the best-selling co-author of There Is No Good Card for This: What to Say and Do When Life Is Scary, Awful, and Unfair to the People You Love, a celebrated guide to empathy endorsed by thought leaders like Sheryl Sandberg and Glennon Doyle. Her work has been featured in NPR, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

With an academic background that includes a PhD from UC Berkeley and an LMSW from Hunter College, Kelsey offers a unique combination of empathy, insight, and expertise to her clients at Brave Soul Therapy.
